A Program for Personal Transformation And Professional Training in the Healing Arts For Advanced and Beginning Students

Program Description

The Healer’s Program offers an opportunity to study the healing arts and apply that knowledge to your own personal transformation. The program is designed to bring about personal transformation for every participant by creating a compassionate relationship with oneself -- that is, to embrace, heal, and transform the wounded parts of your being, and to restore those aspects of self to a place of love, acceptance, and dignity.

Tom is the only teacher I have found on my present journey to fully walk the talk. The Healer’s Program will help you to start to unravel the mystery of who you are, where you came from, and what you are capable of.

You will gain the skills needed to diagnose the underlying causes of physical and psychological distress, and learn how to restore balance in these areas of life. You will also gain deep insights into the conflicts that arise in close and intimate relationships and how such conflicts can be healed.

The program also offers training in counseling and establishing an effective successful practice as a healer.

This current program is for Advanced Students who have participated in Level 1 of the Healers Program, and for Beginning Students who are new to the Healer’s Program.

This work is done in a loving, respectful, and healing environment.

This current program is for Advanced Students who have participated in Level 1 of the Healers Program, and for Beginning Students who are new to the Healer’s Program.

Beginning Students will participate in a foundation-laying, intensive weekend, where they will learn the essentials of the Level 1 Healer’s Program. They will then join the Advance Program for six more weekend-modules. (See below for schedule.)

The foundation-laying, intensive weekend for newcomers will focus on:

· Reading the Body and Physical Asian Diagnosis

· An Introduction to Intuitive Diagnosis

· An Introduction to the Five Transformations

· An Introduction to the Five Defenses

· An Introduction to Personal Transformation

That foundation-laying, intensive weekend takes place on: October 1 through 4, 2009

Once you have participated in the Intensive, Introductory Weekend, you will join the advanced group for six more weekends of training and transformation.

THE ADVANCED TRAINING TAKES PLACE OVER SIX WEEKENDS and will offer advanced training in the healing arts and personal transformation. These areas will include:

· Advanced Physical Diagnosis

· Advanced training in Intuitive Diagnosis

· Advanced training in Healing the Body

· Advanced training in Healing the Heart and Emotions

· Advanced training in Healing Relationships

· Advanced training in Counseling

The Healer’s Program is more than a training for professional healers, it is also a personal transformational experience. The healing methods taught at the school are applied to – and applied by – the students themselves. We learn by working on ourselves and each other. And we do this in an atmosphere of confidentiality, compassion, and support.

In the process, we experience profound insights into our own behavioral patterns. We see the beliefs that form the foundation of these behaviors and come to understand their origins, as we have never understood them before. And we utilize the healing methods taught at the program to free ourselves from the restraints and distress these patterns cause us. The consequence is that we become a more integrated, powerful, and effective healer and human being.

Tom is the most sincere, dedicated, down to earth, and knowledgeable person when it comes to nutrition and other healing approaches. He is gentle yet direct, and puts each person at the forefront of the work. You feel that the Healer’s Program is tailored for you. And it is!

The Advanced Training will take place on the following weekends:

Module 1:        October 16-18, 2009
Module 2:        November 20-22, 2009
Module 3:        January 8-10, 2010
Module 4:        January 29-31, 2010
Module 5:        March 5-7, 2010
Module 6:        April 16-18, 2010

Beginning Students will start the Healer’s Program on October 1 through 4, 2009. They will then continue their training at the Advanced Levels, returning to the Program on the weekend of October 16 through 18, and continuing on with the Advanced Program schedule until it concludes on the weekend of April 16 through 18.)

Advanced Students (those who have already taken Level 1 of the Healers Program) will start their program on the weekend of October 16 through 18, and continue over the six scheduled weekends, which concludes on the weekend of April 16 through 18.

Spaces for the Program Are Limited

Because of the personal nature of the program, and because everyone who takes the program receives personal attention, spaces for the program are limited. The group is kept relatively small and intimate. All information shared in the group is protected and highly confidential.

Accommodations and Meals

The program takes place at the country setting of Ananda Ashram in Monroe, New York, just an hour outside of New York City. Overnight accommodations are provided at the ashram. You can choose between a dormitory-style room, which will have anywhere from two to three roommates, or a semi-private room, which will include one roommate.

The price for the dormitory room is already included in the overall price of the program. If you would like a semi-private room, add $40 per weekend to the overall program costs.

An abundance of delicious macrobiotic meals, prepared by our expert chef, are provided at each weekend module.

Tuition:

The program costs include tuition, textbooks, dormitory-style rooms, and three delicious macrobiotic meals per day.

The Cost for Beginning Students is $3747.00
(This price includes the intensive weekend plus six modules of Advanced Training.)

The Cost for Advanced Students is $2997.00
(This price is for all six weekends of Advanced Training.)

DISCOUNTS AND PAYMENT PLANS

We offer a variety of ways in which you can lower the cost of the program, such as with early registration, and by having a friend register for the program. As before, we are happy to arrange payment plans, as well.

Among the ways you can lower the costs are the following:

To receive a $150.00 discount on the Healer’s Program, you must:
Pay in full by August 15.

To receive a $100.00 discount on the Healer’s Program, you must:

1. Register by July 15 ($400.00 non-refundable deposit required to register), or

2. Pay in full by September 15, or

3. Take an airplane to get to the Healer’s Program.

To receive a $50.00 discount on the Healer’s Program, you must:

1. Register by August 15 ($400.00 non-refundable deposit is required), or

2. Travel at least 200 miles one way to get to the Healer’s Program, or

3. Get a friend to register for the Healer’s Program. (If you have several friends who sign-up, we will give you a $50.00 “thank you” for each one of them.)

To receive a $25.00 discount on the Healer’s Program, you must:

1. Register by September 1 ($400.00 non-refundable deposit required to register), or

2. Travel at least 100 miles one way to the Healer’s Program.
